This course delivers an overview of the features in BlackBerry® Enterprise Server software version 4.1. Managing data transfer and email message filters, the BlackBerry Attachment service, the BlackBerry Mobile Data System (MDS) Connection Service, and the BlackBerry collaboration Service are introduced and discussed. Troubleshooting information and exercises are included throughout the course.
Course Outline
Lesson 1: Managing Data Transfer Describe and configure email pre-population. Describe and configure wireless email reconciliation. Describe and configure wireless PIM synchronization. Describe wireless calendar synchronization. Describe and configure automatic wireless backup. Lesson 2: Manage Email Message Filters Distinguish between user, group, and global email message filters.
